In the next few days our intrepid photographer, Leesa Rowley, will have her 1000s of photos sorted and ready to post. Leesa was an unsung hero today! What an effort she made to record our event!

Now I have time to clear my mind and stop doing paperwork etc!

Firstly to Monica and Rod. Thanks for all your hard-work and belief in getting behind the Beeball concept. Without that, today wouldn’t have happened.

Thanks to my wife Gayle and sons David and Steven. The work they did today and in the lead up was very much appreciated

Thanks to Rod’s helpers, Mark Inskip and Graham Eade for helping set up and pull down.

To all my friends that I coerced into umpiring. My biggest fear was my planning would not work but you all did a fantastic job with enthusiasm, humour and dedication as always.

And thank you to all the kids, coaches and parents that embraced the day!

Remember to bring your coins for the raffle! Over $3500 worth of prizes! More than 35 prizes to be won!

Remember it will be warm tomorrow. Kids playing will have dugout shade available and there are some shady tree areas. But I would seriously consider bringing a shade structure if you can.

Ok. The parking simplified. Head for the main baseball gate and wait for instructions and be patient. We have enough room so wait for and follow the instructions of the parking marshal.

There will be a quick umpires/coaches meeting at 8am at The Hive. Bring your questions! Hopefully every thing is straightforward. I know all teams don’t have an 8.30 game but I will be at The Hive for those late start coaches and Umps. Come and see me there if you have any questions.
To all though. We want this to be fast paced! We want hustle. We want as many At Bats and fielding opportunities that we can possibly fit into 45 minutes.
I also want your feedback at the end of the day. If I miss giving coaches and umpires a questionnaire/survey please come and collect one from The Hive during the day.
