Here at Bowen Mountain Retreat, we celebrate our incredible bird life. We’re lucky to have an abundance of wild king parrots that regularly visit the property—they are one of my favourite birds.

My mum, an incredibly talented bird and naturalist used to feed them by hand. It’s something that always felt so special, and we’re proud to continue that legacy by nurturing a space where birds—and people—can feel at home.

Creating habitat for birds is part of how we share the magic of this place with our guests- inviting you to slow down, connect, and experience the beauty of nature all around you.
