🏊‍♀️ Coffs Coast Ocean Swims – 30th Anniversary!🏊‍♂️

Club members, if you’re looking for a fantastic local swim event, the 30th Anniversary of the Coffs Coast Ocean Swims is coming up!

📍 Sawtell Surf Life Saving Club, Sawtell
📅 Sunday, 22 March 2026

Choose your distance and make a great day out of it:

• 300m Harbour Swim (8–13 years) – Perfect if you’re bringing the next generation along.
• 600m Harbour Swim (10+ years) – A beautiful lap around the jetty with plenty of encouragement.
• 2km Harbour Swim (14+ years) – The classic clockwise harbour loop – protected, scenic, and deeply satisfying.

Whether you're chasing a solid effort or just keen for a fun swim with a great community atmosphere, this event is always a highlight on the calendar. 🌊

Wow what a day at the Kingslcliff Triathlon 2026 yesterday.

The HHTC turned up on the weekend with the previous results being noted.

A prospective junior to our club who has taken to this triathlon fever is Sienna Ward. Taking out 3rd place in the Solo Tempta in her Age Group 14-15 years in a cracking time of 46:03.

Being hooked by this sport since competing in the Trial Bay Triathlon since she was 5 years old and this being her 2nd year completing the Enticer.

I feel we will see more of this young amazing person in the future events.

5 Hammerheads competed today at the Kingscliff Triathlon.

Situated on one of the stunning coastlines. Starting with the swim in Cudgen Creek, cycling along the coastline and then the warm run by the beach.

The day started partly cloudy with a few showers on the bike & then came out hot for the run.

Firstly through the finish shoot:

Paul Matthes
1st - Solo Sprint Aquabike 60-64 AG- 1 hr 1 min

Anne Kirkwood - 1st Solo Sprint - 55-59 AG - 1hr 25min

Tori Maxwell - 3rd Solo Sprint - 30-34AG - 1hr 19min

Jarrad Davis - 1st Olympic Solo - 30-34AG - 2hrs 18mins

Andrew Kirby - 6th Olympic Solo - 60-64AG - 2hrs 40 mins

Chrissy Matthes & Paulene Kirby were there as volunteers and cheered our amazing athletes on through out the day.

💙 HAT HEAD HAMMERHEADS – JOINT DIVISION 5 CHAMPIONS! 💙

We are incredibly proud to announce that our little but mighty crew are Joint Winners – Division 5 at the NSW Club Championships! 🏆🔥

With a team of just 8 Hammerheads, we headed into the weekend with heart, grit and team spirit and what an amazing day it turned out to be. Every single member gave their absolute all and represented our club with pride, respect and outstanding sportsmanship.

Don’t forget MVP Paul! Paul has been a tireless volunteer for the club over the past year in so many ways not the least as equipment officer but also more recently in his mammoth effort in helping facilitate the Trial Bay Triathlon. 👏👏

From podium finishes to strong, determined efforts across every race, this weekend was about more than results, it was about teamwork, resilience and the power of a small regional club showing up in a big way 💪

This Saturday we have around 10 of our incredible Hat Head Hammerheads lining up at the Forster Club Championships — and we couldn’t be prouder! 🙌🔥

From the Standard Triathlon through to the Aquabike, our crew will be taking on a variety of distances, challenges and goals — each one representing our club with grit, heart and that unmistakable Hammerhead spirit 💪

Got kids who love to run, ride, splash and have fun?
Come along tomorrow to the MILO Kids Triathlon at beautiful Trial Bay and give triathlon a go!

Hello Hammerheads.

The PMTC are coming to South West Rocks this Saturday 6th December to support us for the morning.

We will be doing park run at 7am,followed by coffee then an ocean swim near the Gaol.

We will then be providing a sausage sizzle for breakfast.

If you can join us please put your name in the comments below that would be great.

If someone has great BBQ skills would love someone to cook.
