A legend forever 💙

After a courageous 13-year battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), we are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Neale Daniher. Neale will always be a pivotal figure in the sporting community, and his legacy will live forever 💙

⭐️Round Four - Recognition ID Impact Award Nominee ⭐️

This week's nominee is Nicho Salvatore from South Mornington JFC 🤩

Nicho is the definition of someone who goes beyond the scoreboard for the South Mornington JFC and MPJFL community. As Vice President, coach and one of the hardest working people at our club, he consistently puts the needs of players, families and volunteers first.

No task is ever too big or too small — Nicho is always the first to put his hand up wherever help is needed. This was especially evident over the past weekend when many of our regular helpers were unavailable. Without hesitation, Nicho stepped in and took on whatever was required to ensure teams and players still had the best possible experience.

His leadership, commitment and selfless attitude make a genuine impact on our club and embody everything the MPJFL Impact Award stands for.

Round Two - Umpire Respect Round 💚

Kicking off this Friday, May 1, we recognise the vital role our umpires play in the game.

Over the weekend, you will see regional competition sides wearing green armbands as a show of support - a small gesture that represents a big message 🗣

We are please to share the first nominee of the 2026 MPJFL Impact Award, Rae McCracken, from Crib Point Junior Football Club

Rae organised all volunteers and the roster for them for the Under 8 and 9s carnival, Venue Manager for Cyril Fox Reserve, worked the canteen, team managed her team after the carnival, packed up carnival stuff and end of day, is the team managers go to person and always going above being there start to finish Sunday and a huge reason why the carnival runs so smoothly.

Without people like Rae in our community, it would not be as it is!

Join us at Crib Point Recreation Reserve for a day full of fun!

An ANZAC service will begin at 8:30am, so we ask clubs to arrive prior to the service beginning.
