Hey all, not long now until the big shave, the shave will happen at the Harvey dam on Friday the 4th 5:30pm to 6pm please feel free to come down and watch me shave my hair off. Hey everyone, On the 4th of September ( world leukaemia day ) I will be shaving my hair to raise vital funds and awareness for leukaemia and other blood cancers…I would really love your support for this to raise as much as I can . As everyone knows well most do, our little girl got diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at just 18months of age on the 28th June 2023. She rang the bell in October 2025 however still requires monthly checkup to make sure it stays at bay because it could quite easily come back. Unfortunately over time many kids have relapsed and some unfortunately have lost their lives. Not only is September 4th world leukaemia day but September in its entirety is blood cancer awareness month, blood cancers don’t just affect children, they also affect adults aswell. What many don’t know is that because of the leukaemia foundation we were able to stay together in Perth as a family in our own space, An apartment in Innaloo on the 8th floor with our own kitchen and bathroom. what I’m sure would normally cost somewhere around $800 a week cost us nothing and it meant that John, Hayley and Carter got to be in Perth with us also instead of staying down in Harvey. We have been blessed to be back home in Harvey for the past 2 years and since life is starting to settle down for us I thought now was the right time to shave all of my hair off.
I feel it in my bones that this is something I need to do, it also allows me to start fresh, chop off all of my hair and start again. Please share this post as much as possible. We will be doing a public BBQ where I will shave my head, there will be donation tins available on the day, it will be a gold coin donation for a sausage sizzle. Come down and join us Friday 10am for our weekly Mat Pilates session, it’s 45 minutes of fun, conversation, movement and hopefully sunshine

Please bring a Mat if you can as I only have 5 spare ones and all proceeds from this session will go towards my fundraising efforts for the Leukaemia Foundation as that afternoon I will be shaving my head at the Harvey Dam from 5:30pm until 6pm
