Mother’s Day weekend reminders for the hurting moms:
You are still a mother, even if your arms are empty.
Even if your baby lives in heaven.
Even if your motherhood story looks different than you imagined.
You do not have to “be okay” this weekend.
You do not have to force a smile through the ache.
You are allowed to step away, rest, cry, grieve, and protect your heart.
To the moms navigating infertility:
your longing matters.
To the moms who have experienced miscarriage or stillbirth:
your babies mattered. They still do.
To the moms missing their own mothers:
grief is love with nowhere to go.
To the single moms carrying everything:
God sees the weight you carry.
To the foster moms, adoptive moms, bonus moms, and spiritual moms:
love makes room for motherhood in many beautiful ways.
And to the moms silently struggling behind the scenes—
the exhausted moms, anxious moms, overwhelmed moms, grieving moms—
you are not forgotten this Mother’s Day.
The world may celebrate the loud and picture-perfect moments,
but God also sees the quiet bravery it takes to simply keep going.
May this weekend hold gentleness for your heart.
May you feel seen, loved, and held by God in every tender place.
