Some call it a cow paddock. We’ve heard “tip” thrown around in our comments section too. 😂
But to us It’s Hayes Oval. It’s home.
And if our little country footy ground is good enough to host the 2026 Ipswich Rugby League Grand Final Day, with seven clubs rolling through the gates, then it’s more than good enough for us.
What a sight it was from above over the weekend.
A packed Hayes Oval, plenty of good food, cold drinks, fantastic footy and supporters from across the competition all making the trip out to Harrisville.
You can call our ground whatever you like, we’ll just keep being proud of it. Hayes Oval Inc

Our men’s teams took on a pub crawl today for mad Monday. Dressed in their finest for the occasion.
We thank Iron Bark Demolition for help covering costs for food at Boonah Tavern

While it’s not the result we were hoping for, all we can say is thank you.
Thank you to our A-Grade players, to Star and the entire coaching staff. You brought a valley of Bombers supporters together, lifted our club and gave it the boost it needed to fight on into next year.
Please take this time to reflect on the incredible season you’ve had. We are so proud of you, and we’ll support you no matter the result. We don’t come back year after year because we always win we come back because we love the Fassifern Bombers.
And to our fans, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support means the absolute world to us. You are the backbone of this club, and we wouldn’t be here year after year without you.

As the finals teams make their way to Harrisville today, they’ll see just how much the Fassifern Valley loves this club of ours. Thank you to everyone who put up colours, posters, balloons and streamers. You’ve made our home feel like Bombers territory.
Now let’s hope our A-Grade boys can bring the trophy home in the final game of the day. Up the Bombers! ❤️
