🔥 WOW! Just WOW! 🔥

If you raced Round 1 of the Trek Compass ITT Series at Sydney Motorsport Park, you're going to want to check these out.

A massive thank you to Lizette Pomering from Raw Cadence for capturing the speed, intensity and atmosphere of racing under lights. The photos are absolutely incredible and showcase just how special the evening was.

From pain faces and aero positions to flying wheels and full-send efforts, Lizette has captured it all.

🔥 WHAT A NIGHT! 🔥

Round 1 of the Trek Compass ITT Series 2026 is in the books, and what a way to start the series.

After a week of watching the weather forecast, the rain stayed away and competitors were treated to perfect conditions on an unseasonably warm June evening at Sydney Motorsport Park.

As the circuit lights came on at 6pm, more than 70 riders prepared to tackle the 19.3km Gardner GP Circuit. Racing under lights on a world-class motorsport circuit created an atmosphere that was truly special.

From the first rider released at 6:30pm through to the final finisher, competitors pushed themselves to their limits in cycling's purest discipline – the race of truth.

A welcome addition to the evening was the trial Men's and Women's Road Bike categories, which attracted strong participation and plenty of positive feedback.

The fast conditions produced an incredible night for the record books, with FOUR course records falling:

🏆 Chris Ling – Overall Men – 24:34
🏆 Emily Watts – Overall Women – 27:45
🏆 Joshua Moore – Junior Men – 26:38
🏆 Freya Ingwersen – Junior Women – 31:14

A huge thank you to all competitors, volunteers, officials and Luke from Skywalker Timing for helping make the event such a success.

Round 1 is complete. The series is underway.

Camden Cycle Club and the Camden Rockets have been featured by AusCycling in their Clubs in Focus series.

It’s a great shout-out for everything happening at our club from our proud racing history, to the growth of the Rockets, to the parents, volunteers, coaches and riders who make it all happen each week.

We’re especially proud to see the junior program recognised. The Rockets are all about getting kids riding, building skills, growing confidence and creating a genuine pathway into the future of the sport.

A massive thank you to all members, families, friends and volunteers who have and continue to support our club! This is a real team effort.

Big one coming up! 🚴‍♂️🔥

Camden Cycling Club and Southern Highlands Cycle Club are coming together for a combined Road Race, which will also serve as each club’s Club Championship Road Race for 2026.

This is a closed event open to CCC and SHCC members only, and we’re hoping it’s the first of many more road events to come this year.

The race will be held on Hanging Rock Road, with riders taking on lap racing and the start/finish line located approximately 3km along Hanging Rock Rd after turning right off the Hume Motorway. See map here

Race Schedule:

1:00PM
C Grade – 2.5 laps (29km)
D Grade – 2 laps (23km)
E Grade – 2 laps (23km)

2:00PM
A Grade – 4 laps (46km)
B Grade – 4 laps (46km)

This will be a great test for the legs and a proper battle for club championship honours.
