Some reminders for Saturday! 🩵

💙🚨 GAME DAY REMINDERS – QUICK READ BEFORE YOU PLAY 🚨💙

We’re back at the courts this weekend 🙌 before the first whistle blows, please take note of the following:

🚗 Parking – Use the actual parking spots. Not the grass, not the fences, and definitely not Bunnings.
💅 Nails – Short, smooth and game-ready. No gloves allowed.
💍 Jewellery – All jewellery and piercings must be removed. Earrings cannot be taped.
💚 Green Wristbands – These umpires are U18. Show them respect and support 💪

📋 Score Sheets (competition games only)
✔️ Umpires will bring them to your court
✔️ Every player must sign (full signature, not initials)
✔️ 1 scorer per team (14+ only) – no mid-game swaps
✔️ Home team scorer = official scorer
✔️ Scorers must stand together and agree at each break and full-time
✔️ Captains AND scorers sign at the end – once signed, it’s final
✔️ Winning team returns the sheet straight to Control

👕 Uniforms – Still waiting on gear? Club-coloured shirt with tights or shorts is fine for now.

💙 Borrowed Players – BEFORE taking the court, report to Control.
Name, DOB, club and signature required. Don’t forget to sign the scoresheet too.

🩹 First Aid – Qualified first aiders are on site each week.
Please go to them directly, they’ll handle next steps if needed.

🚫 Forfeits – If you need to forfeit, notify us and the other team as early as possible.

As Summer Comp wraps up the week, we say ‘see you soon’ to Nicole — or Nic, as she is more fondly known. Nic has been a dedicated member of the Executive Committee since 2019, completing her seventh year of service in 2025.

She initially joined as Treasurer and has remained a hands-on and committed member of the committee. In addition to her Treasurer role, Nic took on the management of our canteen, including staff rostering, ordering, and pricing.

She also contributed her time as a representative team manager in 2020, 21, 22 and again in 2024.

She is a valuable and very much appreciated member of our committee and will be greatly missed.

Thank you Nic, for everything you have done for our association and our netball community 🫶💙✨

Exciting News!! Camden Netball is running a pilot All Abilities program for the very first time!

We’ve teamed up with Let’s All Play to give kids aged 6–12 with an intellectual disability the chance to get on court, learn some skills, be active and most importantly, have fun with friends 🏐✨

📅 Starts Wednesday 15 October
🕓 4:15 pm – 5:15 pm
📍 Narellan Sports Hub
⏳ Runs for 8 weeks
🏐 6-12 year olds
💲 $50 for the program

It’s all about creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone can enjoy the game we love.

CONGRATULATIONS CHARGERS!!!

Our SD6 Chargers have won their grand final, with an amazing score of 77-34!

This is their second grand final win in a row, and we are so proud of them for accomplishing this after moving up two divisions this season. 🌟

These girls always play with drive and passion, and most importantly with heart, which has certainly paid off. Congrats girls, you’ve earnt this!!! 🩵💪

A special Congratulations to the Comets for making it to their first ever grand final!! It was a hard fought game and they were so unlucky to miss out by one point, with a final score of 27-28.

The girls have played a great team game this season, and the amount of effort they’ve put in this year hasn’t gone unnoticed. To make it this far is a huge achievement and the community is so proud of them!! 🩵🩵
