A cracking couple of games out at West Wyalong this past weekend!

The womens team made the way out with only 10 players and poured every last effort into their performance. Throughout the game the team was plagued with injuries and had to call the game with 5 minutes to go. Unfortunately the game went West Wyalongs way.

Final Score 5-29

The men’s team were ready for a tough West Wyalong side. West Wyalong were able to score first points, however Harden fired back in quick succession. 4 tries before the half time whistle and Harden were infront, but knew Wyalong would keep the pressure on! Credit to the men who were able to play some free flowing rugby and see another for 4 tries to West Wyalong’s 1 in the second half!

Final Score 54- 12

Tomorrow both Harden teams head off to West Wyalong for what is going to be a great day of rugby! West Wyalong are hosting their annual ladies day and we are excited to be a part of it!

Our womens team will be looking to get back on their feet after a tough loss last round. The girls are fired up and ready to take on what will no doubt be a strong West Wyalong outfit!
The men’s team are taking a strong 24 man squad over. West Wyalong will be much stronger at home and Harden will need to on the top of their game to match it with them tomorrow! The boys have enjoyed the week off and are even keener to get back on the field this weekend!

We are proud to announce, for the very first time in SIRU history, the introduction of our 2026 AGNVET SIRU U18 Boys Squad!

This marks an exciting milestone for Southern Inland Rugby as we continue to grow our representative pathway and provide more opportunities for our emerging talent to compete at the next level.

Our inaugural U18 Boys squad will take the field over the June Long Weekend at St Luke’s Concord.

This is a significant step forward for rugby in our region, and we can’t wait to see this group pave the way for future U18 representative programs.

A special catch-up with a true Devil. ❤️🤍👹

Last night, Hugo welcomed former player Straw and a group of old teammates and friends for a catch-up and to share memories of the club’s early years.

Straw, who played for the Devils throughout the mid-1970s and early 1980s, was the writer of the Devils club song and played a significant role during that era. He remains a much-loved figure among many who were part of those memorable years.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the rich history and lifelong friendships that make the Devils such a special club. ❤️🤍👹

👹 Match Write-Up 👹

Yesterday both Harden teams hosted Grenfell in a cracking day of rugby!

First off the womens team were hard at work. Grenfel got off the mark first and Harden quickly replied with a try of their own. Grenfell however held out Harden for the rest of the half with a try being the difference at Half time.
The second half saw both teams score a try each and finish up the game at 14-19 Grenfells way. A cracking game of footy and what a tight finish!

In the mens game, about 15 minutes into the game the Harden men were up by 14 points, then the rain started. Harden hadn’t played in rain for almost 2 years so things got a little messy! One more try to finish the half and Harden lead 19-0 at half time.

The second Half was a grind. Every time Harden looked to be about to score, errors kept them out. Grenfell’s defense stood tall and they held Harden to only one more try for the second half. The defensive effort from Harden was outstanding, Grenfell never got withing 5 meters of our line the whole game and its a real credit to the mens efforts! Final Score 26-0.
