Greta Football & Netball Club Welcome to the Greta Football & Netball club page. Greta is one of the few surviving Football/Netball Clubs that is not based in a township.

Greta FNC is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Ovens & King history with 9 Senior football premierships and an amazing 25 A Grade netball flags in the past 54 years! Greta FNC competes in the Ovens & King FNL fielding 5 netball and 2 football sides. New players/supporters always welcome. Mission Statement

🔵 Kristy Harding– 100 Club Games 🔵

Again, for the person that writes these milestone posts, this is another special one.

This milestone is about 12 years in the making.
After a stint with Wangaratta Rovers and Milawa FNC, Kristy realised the place to be for her was the Greta Football Netball Club.
She joined us in 2011 to umpire for the season before taking the court the following year for a few games in Under 17s in which she was promoted to B Grade with coach Amanda Coote.
From that moment, Kristy has been involved in netball throughout B Grade and B Reserve, playing full seasons and part seasons where needed. She has had time off due to moving away and having her biggest supporters (apart from who is writing this) in her two children. Kristy has been involved in Grand Final teams and has achieved personal accolades in MVP and Coaches Awards.
Season 2026, Kristy has committed herself to playing as close to a full season as possible. She has provided the leadership, stability and guidance needed for our young shooters in the B Reserve side. She practises what she preaches on and off the court, making this milestone truly deserved.

A wise women once told Kristy “when you are involved in a club, you are involved, you are committed and you help where you are needed”.
Kristy lives this at the Greta FNC. Her on-court contribution shows her commitment, but so does her off-court achievements. Kristy has been a committee member on and off since coming to the club. Her roles have been varied, being apart of the social committee, the social media team and the fundraising team. In 2023, Kristy received the Club Person of the Year award, an award nominated by the committee and selected by the executive team. Kristy often reflects that this is her most proudest award to date.

Greta FNC Presentation Night

Let's get prepared to celebrate our individual efforts, our efforts as a team and the efforts of those who operate our club.

Join us on Friday September 25th, 2026 from 5pm at the Wangaratta Oaks Function and Conference Centre for a sensational night of acknowledgment and celebration.
Come dressed in your best casual formal/formal attire and enjoy a two course meal while getting around what makes Greta great!
