With the sun shining our volunteers were out on the mowers maintaining our fairways in a wonderful condition. Although the sun shone there was not a lot of warmth due to the cool wind
Today's stroke event was for the Alexandra House voucher also putting and a round of the eclectic competition.
Winner was Irene Box with a nett 76 from runner up Toby Salter with a nett 77.

The monthly medal was played today for the Your Regional Butcher very generous meat tray. The final holes were played in waterproofs as rain came down to dampen the players spirits.
Winner of the monthly medal was Matt Anderson with a nett 70.
Voucher winner was Colin Stubbs on a countback from Allan Hitchcock both with a nett71. Third place went to Barry Oldaker wirh a nett 73.

After a sunny start persistent showers chased home competitors in Friday's stroke event over last three holes. Maurice Pekin was the clear winner with an impressive score.

The first round of the men's 2026 championships was played today in cool conditions with an extremely heavy shower drenching players towards the end of their rounds.
Winner today on a countback with a nett 68 was Colin Stubbs from Barry Oldaker. Ron Oakley came in third with a nett 70.
