Grangeburn Bowling Club Lawn bowling club with 2 synthetic lawn greens, located in Hamilton, Vic. Indoor social bowls played Tuesday and Saturday during colder months. All welcome.

Bar open Friday nights 5 to 7pm. Two function rooms plus bar area available for functions.

56th Australian Indoor Bowls Championships – Sydney

Unfortunately, Jules and Nettie's Mixed Fours team with Rob and Peter didn’t get the win against Tasmania, going down by just 2 shots in a very close game. After having a draw in the earlier rounds, this left them just half a game behind Silver and Bronze, finishing in a very creditable 4th place.

👏 We are so proud of you, Jules and Nettie and the fantastic effort you put in! What an achievement representing Victoria for the second year running. ❤️💙

A huge well done to everyone in the Victorian team who put in so much time and commitment, travelling to Ballarat for training and then making the trip to Sydney.

🥇 Victoria brought home Gold in:

• Men’s Fours (includes Rylan Pech from Hamilton)
• Ladies Singles
Junior Girls
Junior Boys

🥉 Bronze in:
• Men’s Singles
• Ladies Pairs
• Ladies Fours

The Vic team came second to Tasmania in the overall standings. They came very close to winning the Junior trophy, only missing out by 2 points to Tasmania.

Wow, Nettie and Jules are flying in Sydney at the 56th Australian Indoor Championships. They play off against Tasmania in the Mixed Fours Final tomorrow to decide the GOLD Medal.

Good luck to our members Jules Po***ck and Nettie Ryan who are proudly representing Victoria for the second year at the Australian Indoor Bowls Championships in Sydney this week!

The Indoor Bowls Warrnambool Pennant Grand Finals will be played tonight. Our very own, Jules Po***ck plays as second in the Division 1 Allansford Tigers team with Skip Doug Byron, Third Allan MacCulloch and Lead Colin Ruddle. They play the Lawn Tennis Stingrays team of Skip Brendan Kean, Third Liam Keegan, Second Debbie Kean, Lead Viv O'Grady.

The grand final games will be live streamed on the Indoor Bowls Warrnambool page.

Nettie continued her good form today when she skipped the winning team at today's Port Fairy Indoor Bowls Tournament. Nettie was joined by teammates Julie Shields, Brian Taylor and Andrew Lackie in winning their three games.

Unfortunately, Nettie Ryan went down 16–21 in the VIc Indoor Bowls Champion of Champions at Ballarat in a very close game to the eventual winner, Heather Hopkinson.

What a great effort, Nettie! 👏 You certainly gave her a great battle, especially against a player who has represented Australia in Indoor Bowls.

Congratulations, Heather, and well done Nettie — you did the Burners proud! 🔥👏

Our club has been flat out over the past couple of weeks, and once again our amazing volunteers have shown why we’re so proud of this place — everyone jumps in whenever something needs doing. A big thank‑you to everyone who gives up their time to help out. Your enthusiasm and willingness to pitch in is what makes our club such a great one to be part of.

John Colcott, John Walter, Jimmy Bensch and Wayne Rigby represented us at the recent Coleraine Races, while this week more than 140 volunteer hours were contributed by members working multiple shifts to staff the gates and ticket booths across the three days of Hamilton’s Sheepvention Rural Expo.

We also welcomed students from The Hamilton and Alexandra College Junior School, who enjoyed trying their hand at indoor bowls. The College kindly provided a terrific morning tea as a thank‑you to our club, which was greatly appreciated.
