"I had the Laidlaws on this past week while I was ski touring Munyang Valley. The booties were surviving temps in the minuses and although the snow did cover them they resisted the wetness inside and the velcro kept the snow drifts from coming in. I found them to dry quickly in the following bluebird day :) Overall they have been a great addition to the camping kit. A colleague who trialled the booties found them to be extremely comfy and a good fit.

We'd like to introduce you to Dave Marcus, who started work at 15 with the famous Australian clothing company that epitomised quality, Fletcher Jones & Staff. When it closed down in Mount Gambier S.A. Dave and his wife Linda (also ex FJ's) opened their business 'Sew Unique' in the Mount . Using former FJ's sewing machines and employing several ex FJ's staff, Dave continues the FJ's tradition of producing quality sewn products. Dave's expertise in pattern making and sewing was instrumental in producing our Camp Boots. Dave says "At Sew Unique if you can sew, glue or nail it, we can make it!".
