Round 10 sees our Women's team enjoy a bye after a strong start to the season.

The Colts, Reserves and League sides are all on the road this weekend as they travel to take on Thornlie.

ROUND 9 REVIEW | CENTURION CLUB DAY

A special day at the Snakepit as we celebrated our annual Centurion Club Day, recognising those who have reached the milestone of 100 games for the Cobras.

The highlight of the day was Royce Evans 150th game, becoming just the 11th player in club history to reach the milestone. Royce celebrated in style, kicking 5 goals as the League side produced a dominant second-half performance to defeat Quinns by 62 points.

🔹 Women – Fought hard against Kingsway, with Cassy kicking 2 goals.
🔹 Colts – Competitive early before Quinns pulled away in the second half.
🔹 Reserves – Battled hard all day but couldn't overcome an early deficit.
🔹 League – Responded brilliantly after quarter time, kicking 15 goals to 3 for the remainder of the match.

We then finished off the night with our annual iPod Shuffle Night, with plenty of laughs and great music capping off a big day and night at the snakepit.

150 Games for Royce Evans

This weekend we celebrate a fantastic milestone, with Royce Evans set to play his 150th game for the Cockburn Cobras.

Royce becomes just the 11th player in club history to reach the 150-game milestone.

A product of the Cockburn junior football club, Royce made the step into senior football in 2013 and has been a key figure at the club ever since.

Over his career, Royce has built an impressive list of achievements, including:

• 2015 League Runner-Up Fairest & Best
• 2016 League Fairest & Best
• 2017 League Most Consistent
• 2019 C4 League Premiership Player
• 2020 League Runner-Up Fairest & Best
• 2023 League Grand Final Runner-Up
• League Captain (2015–2018)

Off the field, Royce has also given back to the club through his service on the committee and is a proud member of the Cobras Centurion Club.

Royce's leadership, dedication and commitment to the Cobras have made him a highly respected figure both on and off the field, and reaching 150 games is a milestone thoroughly deserved.

Congratulations Royce on an outstanding achievement. We wish you all the best for your 150th game.

🐍 ROUND 9 FIXTURES – SUPER SATURDAY AT THE SNAKE PIT 🐍

All four Cobra teams are back at home this weekend for a massive Super Saturday at the Snake Pit!

This Saturday also marks our annual Centurion Club Day. The Centurion Club recognises those players who have achieved the milestone of 100 games for the Cockburn Cobras Football Club.

It’s a great opportunity to acknowledge the players who have made a significant contribution to our club over the years.

After the footy, stick around for our annual iPod Shuffle Night. There are still songs available to buy and plenty of prize money up for grabs. It’s always a good night at the club and a great way to finish off a big Super Saturday.

Round 8 was a tough day at the office for the Cobras, with all four sides suffering defeats against strong opposition.

ROUND 8 FIXTURES

After a well-earned bye, all Cobra teams are back in action this weekend with another big round of football ahead with all teams on the road.

Our Women's side faces a top-of-the-table clash under lights against Bayswater, with 1st taking on 2nd in what promises to be one of the biggest games of the season.

The men's teams travel to take on Hamersley-Carine in three important matches, with our League side also playing under lights as they look to continue building momentum in a tightly contested competition.

🐍 ROUND 7 REVIEW 💙💛

A solid day on the road for the Cobras with 2 wins from 4, highlighted by big performances from our Women’s and League sides.

💙 Women with another dominant display with a 65-point win over Swan Valley. After a tight opening quarter, the girls blew the game apart with a huge second term and were outstanding defensively, conceding just 1 point in the second half. Crystal continued her red hot form with 6 goals as the women now move into 2nd spot on the ladder.

💛 Colts – A tough day against a strong Kwinana outfit, but the boys continue to build each week.

💙 Reserves – A hard-fought contest against Kwinana, with the boys going down by 13 points after sticking in the fight all day.

💛 League – A massive 7-point win over Kwinana in a quality contest. A huge third quarter saw the Cobras kick 5 goals to 1 to take control before holding strong late. Julian Hulten finished with 5 goals, while Bailey Snook made an instant impact in his first game for the Cobras with 3 goals on debut.

All teams now enjoy a bye this weekend before we return refreshed for Round 8.
