News of our World played a pivotal roll in getting the facts about our skatepark out to the community since the very beginning and for that we are incredibly great full.

For those of you that don’t know our very own local Rory Parker designed the skatepark shirts, that were a massive hit. He also designed a beautiful skateboard , together with point soccer club, Simon and I were fortunate enough to be gifted this amazing board. It will be cherished. Go and follow Hogshow hogshowau

A special thank you to all of our sponsors!!!! Donating money, food, prizes some even joining us for the day to showcase their talents and products. We were able to make some money for the next project. (Yet to be decided) watch this space.

To the wonderful volunteers, whether you folded shirts or organised the band, performers or rustled up our local school kids, helped setting up gazebos and the stage or captured the day for us on film, worked in the officials tent or jumped in to pack up at the end of the day. It definitely takes a village to pull it off and boy do we have an awesome village of amazing people.
Simon and I cannot thank the community enough for the support and turnout for the opening of openings! It was unreal and truely heartwarming to see so many out on the day enjoying themselves.

Here to decades of smiles to come! 😀

A massive thank you to the Lions Club of Hallidays Point the ladies and gentleman that gave up their time over the weekend to provide us with the delicious BBQ, setting and dismantling the stage and collection donations for our raffle. Please support the lions club whenever you can, they are amazing people with huge hearts that do wonderful things for our community.

Hallidays Point Skatepark Opening is still on. We have a little bit of rain while we are setting up. Bbq is on and coffee is hot, cakes are looking delicious, stage is getting set up for our Muso’s and the volunteers are pumped. Get down to the skatepark starts at 11-4pm.
