🎉💜🖤🎉 Congratulations to our 3 athletes who braved the chilly conditions 🥶 to compete in the Little Athletics South Australia Race walking State Championships today!

🥇 Liliana T took home a gold and the title of State Champion in the u14 girls 2km.

🥈 Lara H (u14 girls 2km) and 🥈 Hayley F (u12 girls 2km) both took home silver in their respective age groups, with Lara absolutely smashing her PB! 💪

The girls also had the privilege of meeting some race walking royalty 👑 getting up close and personal with Olivia Sandery (represented Australia at the last Olympic games) and Jared Tallent (Olympic gold medallist!)

Fantastic job girls! You rock! 🤘🖤💜🖤💜🤘

Our very own Greg Peterson was awarded the Official of the year award for season 25/26 at last night's Athletics South Australia awards night. Could not have gone to a more deserving winner! Love your work! 👏👏👏

💜🖤🎉 Our club was very well represented at the SALAA Association Awards presentations last night! 🎉🖤💜

It was fantastic to see some of our athletes strutting their stuff on the big screen in the season overview video (which I must say was amazing Little Athletics South Australia!)

Congratulations to Gerard M who was a finalist in the u17 boys State Championships awards, and to Aurora T who was a finalist in the Coles commitment athlete of the year awards. So pleased for both of you to be recognised for all of your achievements. It is an absolute privilege to have had you both represent our club with such great sportsmanship, enthusiasm and passion this season. 💜🖤

Also a huge congratulations goes to our amazing Club President Paul B, who took home the Club President of the year award! So well deserved Paul - we appreciate everything you and your family do for our club and know that we are extremely lucky to have you leading us into the future!

Not long now until our Cross-country meet would be good to see lots of Hallett Cove Athletes give it a go on Sunday.

This year we will also have a fun run at the end to celebrate our superheroes so feel free to dress up for the last race of the day

Centre uniform is required for the age races & if anyone want to help run the meet come down early around 7.30 to help us set up
