๐Ÿ™ One-on-One Nervous System Support ๐Ÿ™ . There are times when we donโ€™t need to push harder, fix ourselves, or find more answers.

We simply need a space where we can feel safe enough to soften.

These individual sessions combine gentle talk therapy, Reiki, breath awareness, warmth, and deep rest to support your nervous system in settling out of survival mode and into a place of ease.

Wrapped in blankets, supported by cushions, and comforted with heat bags, you are invited to slow down, be heard, and allow yourself to receive care.

Each session is tailored to your needs and may include:

Winter has arrived in the Adelaide Hills.

The days are shorter, the mornings are slower, and nature gently reminds us that this is not the season for pushing harder. It is the season for softening.
At The Nest, we believe winter offers an invitation to slow down, rest deeply, and let go of the pressure to constantly do, achieve, and strive.
As soon as you walk into The Nest, your senses begin to soften.
The familiar fragrance, the gentle warmth, the flicker of candlelight, and the soft sounds that quietly fill the space remind your body that it is safe to let go.
There is nothing to achieve here. Nothing to prove. Nothing to carry.
You know you belong.

Your nest has already been lovingly prepared for you. Warm blankets, heated therapy bags, herbal tea, and a space held just for you to rest, restore, and return to yourself.
Here, you are cocooned in support, comfort, and safety. Held by the warmth of the space, the practices, and the community around you, allowing your nervous system to soften, settle, and remember what it feels like to truly rest.

Hello, my beautiful loves, just a little heads up that due to everyone having a full and beautiful long weekend, tomorrow's Restorative Flow class will be cancelled.

It is the beginning of the slow-down and rest season.
Are you feeling it? I certainly am.

This is our second winter in the hills, and I just purchased my first pair of fingerless gloves. So I am now fully prepared.

If you are booked in for Yoga Nidra on Monday at 1pm or 6pm, I will have a cosy, warm nest ready for you.

Hello my loves,

As we move into the cooler months, I wanted to reach out and share a couple of timetable changes we're considering at The Nest.

YOGA NIDRA: Beginning Monday, 8th June, our Monday evening Yoga Nidra class will be moving from 6:30pm to 6:00pm. As the days become shorter and darker, we're hoping this slightly earlier time may feel a little more supportive for those attending after work.

HATHA FLOW: We're also considering shifting our Wednesday morning Hatha Yoga class from 7:30am to 9:30am and would love to hear your thoughts on this before making any changes.

This is essentially our first cold season in the upstairs studio space, and one thing I have always loved about our community is that we can evolve together. Rather than sticking rigidly to a timetable, I want to remain flexible and responsive to what best supports our students and the rhythms of the season.

As many of you know, The Nest has always been about creating a space that feels nurturing, accessible, and welcoming. If an earlier evening class or a later morning class would make it easier for you to attend, I'd love to know. Equally, if the current times work perfectly for you, please let me know that too.

Your feedback genuinely helps shape the classes and offerings we create.

Hello everyone :)

I run a small, cosy yoga and meditation studio in Hahndorf called Nest Yoga Studio, and Iโ€™m currently reviewing our winter timetable.

As the evenings get darker and colder, Iโ€™m considering shifting our 6:30pm Yoga Nidra (guided meditation) class to an earlier 6:00pm time.

For those who may not be familiar, Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative guided meditation designed to support your nervous system, reduce stress, and help you fully unwind. Itโ€™s done lying down, with blankets and props, so itโ€™s accessible for everyone, even if youโ€™ve never done yoga before.

I would love to hear from the local community ๐Ÿค
Would an earlier 6:00pm class feel more supportive for you during winter?
Or does 6:30pm suit you better?

And if youโ€™ve been curious about meditation or looking for a way to slow down and reset, this could be a really beautiful place to start.
