It has been a momentous week for Hadfield Tennis Club, awarded the Most Outstanding Inclusion Initiative at the 2026 Victorian Community Tennis Awards! 🎾✨

Accepting this award at the historic Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club was an unforgettable moment.
Our Introduction to Tennis – Women and Girls Program has reshaped our club culture—doubling our female membership and creating brand-new competitive pathways for young girls. 🙌

This major milestone belongs to our incredible community and partners. A massive thank you to everyone who championed this initiative:

🏆 GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS! 🏆
What a game! A massive congratulations to our Hadfield Mixed B Reserve 1 team on capturing the Grand Final title yesterday against Sydenham! 🥇🎉

Talk about a nail-biter! Sydenham made them work for every single point, but this team showed what they are truly made of. Down but never out, the squad dug deep, stayed united, and pulled off an incredible comeback when it mattered most.

Thank you to the supporters who cheered them on from the sidelines—your energy carried them over the line!

Coach Spotlight: Justin Butera!

Huge congratulations to Justin on reaching an incredible milestone: 10 years of coaching at Hadfield Tennis Club! 🏆

Justin's journey with us has come full circle:
He started off right here as a junior player, eventually representing Hadfield in Men’s Grade 1 Pennant in Victoria.

Following on from that, he transitioned to the sidelines in 2016, sharing his expertise with the next generation as a coach with Hot Shots Tennis Academy.

Justin, we are proud to have you at the club. Thank you for a decade of dedication to the HTC community! 🧡🙌
