We’re very pleased to share that Ballarat Kart Club has been successful in receiving a Berrybank Wind Farm Community Grant through Golden Plains Shire Council.

The works made possible by this grant will achieve a 30-kart grid capacity, making us eligible for the prestigious Victorian State Cup and also assisting with large events such as the annual Victorian Country Series round.

We thank Berrybank Wind Farm and Golden Plains Shire Council for their support of the club, as well as Karting Victoria and Karting Australia for their assistance with the project planning and approvals.

More than $90,000 in funding has been awarded to nine local community groups through the 2026 Berrybank Wind Farm Community Grants Program.

The funding will support a diverse range of projects and events across Golden Plains, including sporting facility upgrades, environmental initiatives, community arts programs and local events.

Delivered in partnership with Berrybank Wind Farm, the grants help local organisations bring projects to life that create lasting benefits for our communities.
