A great opportunity for our high school athletes!

If you're 14 years or older and enjoy Little Athletics, this could be a fantastic way to build new skills while giving back to the sport.

The STRIVE Leadership & Development Program offers practical, hands-on experience in coaching, officiating and leadership, with the chance to gain nationally recognised accreditations along the way.

It's a great option for students looking to develop confidence, strengthen communication and teamwork skills, earn SACE credits, or simply get more involved in athletics.

Looking for some extra athletics coaching before the season begins?

We are pleased to share the following opportunity with our Magill Little Athletics families. Former Magill summer coach Madeline Bennett is now offering private, event-specific athletics coaching, with sessions available to start immediately.
Maddie specialises in throws and is also available to coach running events, jumps, general athletics skills and event-specific technique. Having trained across a variety of athletics squads and coaches, she understands that every athlete responds differently to coaching and tailors her approach to each athlete's personality, goals and learning style.

An accredited athletics coach, Maddie brings years of personal athletics experience, including multiple state team and national representations, club records, and a South Australian state record in the 300m hurdles.

Drawing on her own experience of how difficult specialised coaching was to access when she was younger, Maddie is passionate about providing that opportunity for the next generation of athletes.

One-on-one coaching is available, and sessions can also be arranged for siblings or friends who would like to train together.
