🌟 NUGGET 🌟
Nugget is an 8yo ASH gelding (unregistered). He has the looks, temperament and education that makes him one of those hard to find…. Well – golden nuggets.
Nugget has been easy to bring along and educate, piloted by a young Mum. He has proven to retain info, be great after a spell, and be ready to drag out of the paddock and off to a clinic for the weekend – even when riding time has been sparse with young family commitments. When talking to Nug’s Mum – she says “he’s the easy one. He’s the one had no doubts in trusting to hop straight on in those early postpartum days, or to take to a clinic when I’m juggling a baby as I know he needs no work down….he’s just easy and fun.”
On the ground, he is easy to do everything with. Catches you in the paddock, ties up well, self loads onto float, farrier loves him, unphased being stabled or yarded in new environments, good to wash, quiet enough to let the kids lead and handle.
Under saddle, he is that nice middle ground – no kick along required but sensible and not liable to go faster than required. Good stop and turnaround. Moves off your leg nicely. He’s done more clinics than even he remembers – ranch to obstacles to cattle to horsemanship and back again. Always placed in led classes, placed in a couple of campdrafts, done ranch classes, and just always been fun to show. Done extensive trails and always safe.
Suit an intermediate rider upward for any discipline. This is likely a Mums horse that she can have a bunch of safe fun on! Only for sale as owner as younger horses to focus on now.
