❄️ THE BIG FREEZE IS FINALLY HERE! ❄️

After weeks of planning, fundraising, nominations, ice buckets, and plenty of hype, the day has arrived!

Tomorrow, the Gympie Cats proudly host our Big Freeze 12 FightMND Fundraiser at Ray Warren Oval as we join communities right around Australia in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.

A tough day for our Reserves and Seniors but the women fought hard bringing home an important win! 💙🤍

The playing group has put together another strong week on the training track following some dominant performances at home, and we’re ready for a big challenge away from home.

On Saturday, 20 June, we’re turning Gympie Cats Oval into a sea of ice as we raise funds and awareness for FightMND.

Come down and enjoy a fantastic day of community footy while supporting a cause that impacts thousands of Australians and their families. After each game, our coaches and captains will be stepping up to take on the Big Freeze, all in the name of raising awareness and funds for Motor Neurone Disease research and support.

Three wins from three games with our Women, Reserves and Seniors all recording impressive victories in front of the home crowd. A fantastic effort from everyone involved and another great day for the Cats family.

It’s time for another huge day of footy as the Gympie Cats take on Zillmere!

The Cats are back at home tomorrow as our Seniors, Reserves and Women’s teams prepare to take on Zillmere in a huge day of footy at Ray Warren Oval.

Strong teams have been named across all grades and the boys and girls are ready to rip in for what promises to be a cracking afternoon of local footy.

🍔 Bar and canteen open from 12:00pm
🏉 Reserves kick things off from 12:00pm
🏉 Seniors and Women’s games to follow

Then when the final siren sounds, the action shifts to the clubhouse for our Beer Pong Tournament! 🍻

🔥 Last-minute team entries are still available. Register at the clubhouse tomorrow before the tournament kicks off.

Get down, support the Cats, enjoy a feed and a cold drink, and stick around for a great night at the club.

Not quite the results we were after in Yeronga. Both men’s teams going down, however some promising signs leading into another huge weekend at Ray Warren Oval coming up with all men’s and women’s teams at home!

See you on the hill this Saturday and cheer our mighty cats home and then test your skills on the beer pong table and take home bragging rights and cash prizes 💰
