Thinking about trialling for Representative Netball in 2027?
Join our 5-week Get Ready for Rep program, designed to help players sharpen their skills, build confidence, and prepare for upcoming representative trials.

5 sessions commencing Wednesday 14 October
4:30pm–6:00pm
Boys and Girls welcome

AGE GROUPS – age turning in 2027
• 12 Years – born 2015
• 13 Years – born 2014
• 14 Years – born 2013
• 15 Years – born 2012
• 16 Years – born 2011

Why attend?
Sessions will focus on skill development, fitness, court movement, positional play, decision-making, and game awareness, while allowing players to prepare for the expectations of representative netball.

It’s a great opportunity to fine-tune your skills, build confidence and get yourself REP READY!

⭐ Open to players considering Representative Netball in 2027
⭐ Develop and refine core netball skills
⭐ Improve fitness, footwork and movement
⭐ Build confidence and game awareness
⭐ Prepare for representative trials
⭐ Train alongside other motivated players

You don’t need to have played representative netball before — if you’re thinking about giving Rep a go in 2027, we’d love to see you there!

As I mentioned last night, Florence was successful in obtaining a Lightning Rising Star scholarship. Congrats Flo - they sure can recognise talent when they see it.

🏐 And that's a wrap on our Junior and Ladies Winter Season for 2026! 🏐

Last night, we wrapped up our junior and ladies' competitions, and what a fabulous season of netball it has been! We won't mention the few little hiccups we experienced along the way with lights and weather! 😉 Despite it all, it has been wonderful to watch our teams develop and grow in both confidence and skill throughout the season.

Let's take a moment to thank a few very special people.
Firstly, our incredible Registrar and Competition Coordinator, Marni. Unfortunately, Marni missed finals due to illness, but we want her to know that the tireless hours, effort and dedication that went into organising this year's competition — along with everything else you do for our association — certainly do not go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do, Marni. 💙

We also want to recognise and thank the incredible people who take to the courts each week with a whistle in hand — our umpires! Umpiring isn't always an easy job. It takes knowledge, confidence, commitment and plenty of courage, and our umpires have shown all of that and more throughout the season. We appreciate you, we value you, and we are incredibly proud of you! 👏

A special congratulations to our Direct Chemist Outlet Gympie bursary award recipients: Kymba Todd, Emilie Dwine, Zoe Tawse, Xander Kronert and Florence Shannon - well deserved by all.

And then, of course, there were the finals!
Finals bring a whole new level of pressure. The excitement is higher, the crowds are bigger, and every goal, decision and moment can feel like it carries so much more weight.

There were some closely contested games last night, a few anticipated wins, and some surprise outcomes! But regardless of whether teams walked away with the win or not, it was wonderful to see the spirit, sportsmanship and camaraderie displayed on the courts.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in our 2026 Winter Season. You should all be incredibly proud of what you have achieved.
