Known for their delicious gourmet cob loaves and crowd-favourite comfort food, The Cob Shop is sure to be a hit with carol-goers of all ages.

⚽🔥 GET MATARI TO THE UK – TRIVIA NIGHT FUNDRAISER! 🔥⚽ 27th JUNE 2026 - 5pm

Grab your friends, family, teammates and workmates and join us for a fantastic night of fun, laughs and community spirit as we help support a local young footballer and his family on an incredible journey.

🌏⚽ Gwandalan local Matari has been passionate about football from a young age and proudly played for the Gwandalan & Summerland Point Cobras for many years before progressing through the ranks to now represent Charlestown Azzurri. His dedication, talent and hard work have earned him selection in the Global Football Network Academy Elite Team, giving him the opportunity to travel to the United Kingdom in 2026 and compete on the international stage.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and now our community has the chance to help make that dream a reality.

🌿 MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR COMMUNITY 🌿

Do you have a few spare hours on a Tuesday morning? Are you looking for a way to stay active, meet great people, and give back to your local area?

The Tidy Towns volunteers are looking for more helping hands across Summerland Point, Gwandalan and Crangan Bay.

From maintaining gardens and parks to helping keep community spaces looking their best, every contribution makes a real difference. No matter your experience level, there’s a place for you on the team.

Not only will you be helping beautify our local community, you’ll also enjoy the camaraderie, friendship and morning tea catch-up that comes with being part of a great group of volunteers.

📍 Tuesday mornings from 7:00am or 7:30am
📍 Meet at the Council Compound near the roundabout
☕ Morning tea at Summerland Point Hall around 9:30am
