Meet Sky, the young man from our last post. He's chuffed with his new Lamb and we look forward to hearing about how much he loves playing with it once the season recommences.

Sky's mum Clare gave me permission to share a little of her story of connection with Ram's Head Bats.
You may recall that we donate 10% from each sale to the Garvin Institute's cancer research branch and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) who are working for a cure to Type 1 diabetes.
That's because our #2 child has lived with T1D since 2013 and Kylie was diagnosed with aggresive breast cancer the same year. Both are still here kicking butt, thanks to the research that we continue to help fund.
Clare brings these causes together in one person, being both a T1D Warrior and a Breast cancer 'previvor'. After finding she carried one of the BRACA genes known to lead to breast cancer, she took the brave step to have her breasts removed before they could try to kill her. So Ram's Head has an extra special connection with this family.
Their story adds to the drive we have to make Ram's Head Bats a known name in the cricket field. Every bit helps in fUnding a cure. And it doesn't hurt that our bats are bloody awesome!

We say we custom make all of our bats... because we Custom Make ALL of our bats!
This Lamb is heading to a young man who wanted a scoop. And although it is not one of our usual styles, our Batman Mitch, worked his magic. Then the final touches were added with some of our mini stickers from when we dabbled in size 1 Lambs.
Looks pretty damn good we think.
