Earlier this week, Polocrosse Australia announced the upcoming Test series against South Africa in 2026🐎
The Australian Men’s and Women’s teams have been selected and will take on South Africa from 31 July to 2 August in what promises to be a highly competitive international series.

Congratulations to Abbot for his selection in the Mens Team. We wish you all the best in South Africa in July.

I caught up today with Dan and Sara from the Guyra Polocrosse club. The club is one of the strongest in the New England and together we recently secured a defibrillator from the NSW State Govt for their grounds at Bald Blair.

Hopefully the defib will never have to be used but it’s certainly handy to have one at the ground.

🏆 Guyra players excelled at the Albury Autumn Classic 🏆
A few of our Guyra members travelled to Albury last week to participate in the Albury Autumn Classic. Some went earlier to either coach or participate in the Junior and Sub Junior coaching clinic which was a fantastic 2 days by all accounts.
Our Guyra members results included:

🌟 Abbott winner of Silver Spur competition with the Berragoon Team and winner of Best Player overall.

🌟 Carlie winner of Silver Stirrup competition with the Berragoon Team and Best Number 2

🌟 Anna, Abby & Steph winners of the Bronze Bit competition in their team Meridian Horse Transport
🌟 Steph also received Best Number 3 & Best Player overall

🌟 Josh won the Junior competition in the NSW 1 team

🌟 Grace won Subbies Division 1 in the NSW1 team which was also coached by super coach Abby

🌟 Ned and Henry were runners up Subbies Division 2 in the NSW2 team with their super coach Carlie and manager Steph.

Well done to all players and their teams 💪

On the weekend Guyra Club attended the Walcha Polocrosse Carnival.

Guyra fielded 4 teams and 5 sub junior players for the weekend. Everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed some good polocrosse.

🥈Guyra 1 came runners up in B Grade
🏆 Fraser Donnelly - Best Number 3

🥇 Guyra Juniors won the D Grade
🏆 Dion Benson - Best Number 1
🏆 Duncan Klabe - Best Number 2
