About Us: At Dalton District Archers Inc. we are dedicated to improving every members' ability to learn, improve or chase that trophy. Our club is affiliated with Archery Australia & Archery New South Wales, thus giving our members the opportunity and choice to compete at a national level. Whether you are a beginner or novice our club is designed to meet your needs. Social and competitive archers welcome! We offer Archery for all! What is Archery? The word archery comes from the Latin arcus meaning 'bow' or 'arch' and is the practice of using a bow to shoot arrows at a inanimate target or in hunting. Archery is a sport that requires focus, discipline and the ability to follow safety instructions; by applying these methods archers benefit by being part of an enjoyable sport that can take you anywhere, whether it is improving fitness that benefits areas from muscle to mental health, self-esteem, social improvement, skill and or knowledge.
