Gunnedah Tennis Club is excited to host its second North West Regional Matchplay Series (RMS) event of 2026 on Sunday 14 June.

Please note:
• No U8, U9 or Open events
• No canteen will be operating
• A coffee van will be available on site ☕️

🎾 Huge congratulations to these 7 legends who competed last week at the NSW PSSA Tennis Championships in Parramatta! 🎾

Millie and Belle proudly represented the Polding Team, while Lachlan, Phoebe, Adalie, Bax and Coop did an amazing job representing the North West Team. 👏

What a fantastic achievement to make these teams and compete against some of the best tennis players in NSW. We’re super proud of all of you for your effort, attitude, sportsmanship and the way you represented your teams both on and off the court.

To come away with some great wins as well was awesome to see! 💪🎾

Entries are now open – spots will fill quickly!

We’re excited to kick off another fantastic season of Friday night junior tennis, running for 8 weeks:
📅 Starts: Friday, May 8
📅 Finishes: Friday, June 26

⏰ Time: 6:15 PM – 8:00 PM
💰 Cost: $70 per player

🎾 Format: Singles & doubles matches each week
👦👧 Divisions: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced

All players must be able to start a point with a proper serve.
🟠 Parents – we’d love your help with Orange Ball matches.

🍕 Weekly prizes up for grabs, including Amici Italian Restaurant vouchers from the Gunnedah Golf Club!

🎾🇫🇷 French Open Holiday Coaching Clinic 2026 🇫🇷🎾

We’ve just wrapped up an awesome few days on court at our French Open themed Hot Shots Tournament!

It was great to see the players really embrace the clay court style theme, working hard, competing well, and most importantly enjoying their tennis in a positive and energetic environment.

Over the three days we focused on:
• Day 1 – Footwork & balance
• Day 2 – Sliding & rallying
• Day 3 – Matches & competing in a fun, supportive setting

The improvement across the week was fantastic, and the effort and attitude from all players was outstanding.

Day 2 of our Holiday Coaching Clinic done and dusted! 🎾

Another awesome morning on court with great energy, effort, and plenty of improvement from all the players. It’s been great to see the kids building their skills, confidence, and having so much fun along the way.

We wrap things up tomorrow with match play and a fun water fight to finish off a great few days! 💪💦
