Caretaker Wanted – Live OnSite at Gundagai Showgrounds!

We are looking for a Caretaker to live onsite at the Gundagai Showground (Riverina, NSW) in exchange for free camping and power. This role is ideal for someone with their own caravan who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle while maintaining the grounds.

Duties include:
✅ Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms
✅ Checking in bookings
✅ Ground maintenance (mowing etc.)

We are looking for an individual or couple who can commit to at least six months. A small payment is also included.

77th LAND ROVER ANNIVERSARY - 22nd - 28th SEPTEMBER 2025 - GUNDAGAI, NSW.

We are very excited to announce that moving forward all our future events will be managed by LR Classic Events INC. A Not for Profit Incorporated Association.

With a proven track record of managing Land Rover events, and a huge passion for the brand, together with our no nonsense approach to getting the job done without the bureaucracy enabling us to bring to you quality Land Rover events.

The 77th Land Rover Anniversary will be held at Gundagai in NSW 22nd- 28th September 2025 and tickets will be on sale in a few weeks. This year Eventbrite a very popular and established event ticked platform, will be used for Registration, Camping, Mechanise, BBQ, etc all in one place. With one of the best Showgrounds In Australia, you will not be disappointed with the facilitates and the totally flat camping sites we have to offer you.

All show updates will be via Facebook/Instagram and the Eventbrite Site.

We just have our Merch to sign off and then we will be live.

Defenders of Australia Club ( And its a massive Club ) will be presenting their 1st Interstate Club Gathering, along with them organising THE LAND ROVER GUNDAGAI CONVOY - WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT. Full details shortly.

The main event will be Thursday to Sunday, but we are going to be offering all of you the opportunity to have up to 4 days free camping ( All you have to do is pay for Thurs/Fri/Sat Nights ).

Our schedule of planned events will also be live shortly. We have so many cool things planned and we are aiming for a quality event with lots of things to do and see and some variety.

It's Snake Gully Cup Weekend! 🍻🐎

The excitement kicks off today at the Gundagai Adelong Racing Club ! Soak up the sun, enjoy the races, and cheer on your favorites. After a great day at the track, keep the good times rolling at our local pubs, where the party continues well into the evening.

Tomorrow, before heading to the famous Hair of the Dog races, start your day with a visit to the Gundagai Producers Market. Grab a coffee, browse local produce, and set yourself up for another fantastic day!

If you are wanting to stay at Gundagai Showgrounds with your horse you need to book in.
Camping is $25 per night per vehicle
Horses are $10 per night

There is no Caravan Camping at Gundagai Showgrounds.
We have two Caravan Parks in town for your use.
