A cold day on the green Tuesday, the following games were played:
A thrilling Singles championship game between Carol Dowell and Sharon Armstrong started out with both players playing excellent bowls.
A draw of 5 all on the 7th end kept us all entertained. Sharon elbowed in front on the 10th end giving her a one shot lead.
Carol not giving in managed to trail away with a nice little lead on the 20th. Sharon putting some lovely bowls down stays in the game.
Carol came home in the last 2 ends taking the game 25-19. Congratulations Carol and well done Sharon.
Championship Pairs with Jane Davidson and Judy Kryger defeating Helen Pearce and Lynn Lindley. Team Jane flew out sprinting and led 10-1 on the 5th end.
Team Helen clawing themselves back into the game only trailing 13-9 on the 11th.
TeamJane stole 4 shots and the battle to get to 25 first began. Team Helen managed to narrow the gap 20-19 on the 19th however Team Jane stole the next 2 ends and the game 25-19. Congratulations Jane and Judy and good bowling Helen and Lynn.

Gail Rowland, Joan Dunn and Ina Ford 26-15.
Bronwyn Naughton, Les Attwood and Mary McCormack defeated Wendy Nicholson, Oam Watling and Leonie Maynard 24-12.
