🌟 Kooringal Hotel Junior Volunteer of the Week 🌟

This week’s Volunteer of the Week recognition goes to Paul and Ellie Barklem.

As a new family to our club, they have embraced the Hawks spirit from day one. Since Round 1, Paul has put his hand up to be the Under 14s runner, and week in, week out, he’s there supporting the kids and helping the team however he can.

When Ellie has a weekend off work, you’ll find her lending a hand wherever it’s needed — whether that’s scoring netball, helping in the canteen, or volunteering her time in countless other ways.

Today was another example of the incredible people we have in our club. After Sairs had to leave early to take a kid to hospital, Paul immediately stepped up, offering to take kids home, return gear, and stay behind to make sure all of the Short crew got home safely.

Volunteers like Paul and Ellie are what make our club such a special place. Thank you both for your generosity, community spirit, and willingness to always help out. We’re lucky to have you as part of the Hawks family! 💛🤎

💛🤎 It takes a village to raise a club. 🤎💛

When people see our players running out each weekend, they see the games, the goals, the wins and the smiles. What they don’t always see are the businesses standing behind the scenes helping make it all possible.

Riverina Kia have been more than just a sponsor to our club. They’ve been genuine supporters of our players, our families and our community. Their backing helps us continue to provide opportunities for local kids to play the sports they love, build friendships, gain confidence and create memories that will last a lifetime.
