Well… the shave is officially DONE 🤣👏🏼

What started as a bit of fun has turned into something pretty incredible, with over $12,000 raised for Endometriosis Australia between the Gulgong & District Campdraft Association Incorporated and Geurie Campdraft committees 💛

A massive thank you to everyone who:

👉🏼 Shared posts, donated prizes, bought tickets and got behind the cause

To say we are proud of our campdraft community is an understatement. Once again, people showed up, dug deep and supported a cause that impacts so many women and families.

How good is this 💛

We’ve just checked our active fundraiser for Endometriosis Australia and we are currently sitting at an incredible $4,700 raised 👏🏼

James Lawson said that if we could raise $5,000 for this very worthy cause, he would cut his hair off and shave the beard off…

Well Jimmy… we are SO close 🤣

This cause is one very close to the heart of our President Grace, pictured with Jimmy and the support shown by our campdraft and local community has honestly been amazing.

📸 CAMPDRAFT GALLERIES COMING SOON 📸

Nick Pearce Media is almost finished editing the 2026 Gulgong & District Campdraft, with galleries expected to be released tomorrow afternoon.

Over 13,000 images were captured across the weekend, from daylight through to late nights around the camp, all with the aim of capturing as many runs and memories as possible.

Not only did Nick spend the entire weekend behind the camera, he will also be generously donating 5% of each days photo sales across the weekend to three incredibly important causes:

Moondoogundi Charolais - LADIES CAMPDRAFT

The Ladies Campdraft delivered another fantastic final and once again the competition was incredibly tight at the top.

After both Jessica Niass and Jack and Donna Sinclair and Kaspers Cavalia put together brilliant first round scores of 88, the event headed into another exciting run-off for first place.

With plenty of pressure on in the final, it was Donna Sinclair and Kaspers Cavalia who came away with the win after adding a 21 to finish on 109, narrowly ahead of Jessica Niass and Jack, who added a 20 to finish on 108.

Thunderbird Ag - UNDER 8s CUT OUT

One of the true crowd favourites of the entire weekend, our Thunderbird Under 8s once again delivered plenty of laughs, huge smiles and some incredibly cute moments.

We had an exceptional line-up of little competitors step into the arena and it was fantastic to see so many kids having a go and absolutely loving every minute of it.

Campdrafting really is a family sport and events like this are such a special reminder of what our sport is all about, kids growing up around horses, cattle and community.

What an incredible final in the Richard Brangwin Memorial Coffin Creek Novice Campdraft.

We took all scores of 86 and above back into the final and the standard was absolutely outstanding. With combinations like Glenn Peacock and Bacardi putting together a huge 91, along with multiple 90s and a stack of 89s, it was shaping up to be an absolute cracker of a final from the very beginning.

After already winning the Maiden earlier that morning, Troy Palmer and Rockin The Boonbox backed it up in style to take out the Novice as well, finishing on a massive 179 and capping off one hell of a day for the combination.

Making the win even more special, Rockin The Boonbox is owned by one of our wonderful committee members, Nichole Wilson Green, so it was a pretty special result to watch unfold.

What a finish to the Maiden B.

After both combinations put together brilliant first round scores of 89, we ended up with a pressure packed run-off between Troy Palmer and Rockin The Boonbox and Warrick Pearsall and Toonga Royalty.
