McCredie Park Aquatics Swim Club

McCredie Park Aquatics Swim Club At McCredie Park Aquatics we believe in providing a fun, friendly and supportive environment for ALL swimmers, regardless of their age or ability.

Originally founded in 1980 by Les Hopkins, McCredie Park Aquatics was an offspring of Cabramatta Swim Club. After leaving Cabramatta Les decided to start a brand new club, McCredie Park Aquatics Amateur Swimming Club, at the recently opened Guildford Heated Pools. Les took on the role of our first president and coach. Our club continued to grow and progress with many swimmers competing at Metro, S

tate and National levels. As our club grew and changed so did our name, McCredie Park Aquatics Swimming Club, no longer referencing the 'amateur' in our name. 2014 will mean 34 strong years of McCredie Park Aquatics as we progress and grow our club for the future.

We started our club room clean out today.
Guildford Pools is undergoing it transformation starting soon.
We found the minutes to the first general meeting held 31 January 1980 and a council letter approving the use of the pool by the club.
When we return we will certainly need a memorabilia wall at the new improved Guildford Pools.

Hello Friends of McCredie Park SC, we hope you are all enjoying your school holidays. Just a reminder, Club Nights will start again on Friday 13 October 2024 at Wentworthville, in 50 m Pool , starting at 6:30PM. I also remind everyone to be affiliated for 2023 - 2024 as full, Club, dry and Second Claim by the date. All second Claims applicants must submit an application form to McCredie Park before joining, for approval to join. You can get this on Swim Central (Documents) or by emailing me a request for application. The application will be reviewed, and sent back to you. If approved you will need to upload in Swim Central as you apply for Second Claim, then McCredie Park will verify, then you will become a Second Claim. Official race rules for summer are on McCredie Park Sc Website- please check🙂
