The Griffith Boat Club would like to welcome everybody for the upcoming ski season. It looks like it’s going to be a long hot summer and relaxing at the lake is a great way to spend the summer. The club will be doing some upgrades to the gate system in the near future, this involves a new software system that will make entry to the boat club easier for both members and non members. The upgrade has caused some issues with membership reminders being automatically sent out by email. Members and new members can go directly to the Griffith Boat Club website to renew memberships.

The gate may be unattended from time to time as we have a new caretaker at the club and he is still getting used to the position. We ask that members do not take advantage of the gate being unmanned and start fobbing in non members to the club. Gate revenue is vital to keeping the club afloat and giving non members access for free won’t be tolerated.

Both reigning World Champions claim victory at Griffith, Phonsy Mullan on top again in Unlimited, whilst Ollie SIlverton had the fans on their feet with his first win in Australia since 2018 defeating AUS #1 Brendan Doyle by a narrow margin in the final, but it was LS-Class that saw the most dramatic finish, Nate Mullan coming off the circuit at speed in the final chasing his brother's benchmark time, the resulting accident seeing the 'RIPSHIFT' boat destroyed by fire, with both driver and navigator extracting themselves from the boat without serious injury. 😮🏁🏆
