Behind every great event is a whole lot of hard work and an even bigger group of people who quietly make it happen.

From the smallest jobs that often go unnoticed to the big decisions made months in advance, it truly takes a village. We're incredibly lucky to have that village here at Grenfell Kart Club. Our volunteers generously give their time, our sponsors back us, and our committee works tirelessly because we love seeing our karting community come together.

If you're planning on joining us for the Bob Hinde Memorial – Festival of the Kids, we'd really appreciate you getting your entry in through the Karting NSW portal as soon as you can.

🏁 The Graham "Silver" Card Clerk of Course Award 🏁

Some people leave a mark on a club that can never be replaced. Graham "Silver" Card was one of those people.

Silver was a huge part of the Grenfell Kart Club family, and every year at the Bob Hinde Memorial – Festival of the Kids, we honour his memory through the Graham "Silver" Card Clerk of Course Award.

Now our track upgrades are completed, and the Bob Hinde Memorial is back, it feels only right that Silver's legacy continues alongside us once again.

This award isn't about trophies, lap times, or race wins. It's about recognising a junior competitor who embodies the spirit of country karting — determination, sportsmanship, resilience, and giving their best no matter what challenges the weekend may bring.

Whether luck has been on their side or not, whether they've stood on the podium or battled through setbacks, this award celebrates the young racer who leaves a lasting impression through their attitude, effort, and passion for the sport.

Silver always understood that karting was about more than racing. It was about people, family, friendships, and supporting the next generation.

We'll be raising a glass and sharing a few stories in honour of Silver during the Bob Hinde Memorial weekend. We know he'll be riding along with us every lap.

🏁 THE BOB HINDE MEMORIAL IS BACK! 🏁

After a break while our major track upgrades were completed, we're excited to bring back one of country NSW's most loved karting events – the Bob Hinde Memorial – Festival of the Kids.

For many years, this event was a highlight on the karting calendar. It was known for everything that makes country karting great:

✅ Strong junior participation
✅ Camping and social activities
✅ Friendly country hospitality
✅ Community spirit
✅ A welcoming atmosphere for racers of all ages and experience levels

Held in memory of Bob Hinde, a dedicated volunteer who gave so much to the Grenfell Kart Club, this event celebrates the values that have always made our club special.

Now, with our track upgrades complete, we're inviting racers, families and supporters to help us rebuild the Bob Hinde Memorial into the event many remember from its prime.

Whether you've raced at Grenfell for years, attended previous Bob Hinde Memorials, or are thinking about visiting for the very first time, we'd love to see you there.
