We are a junior basketball club, based in Greenvale, in the north-western suburbs of Melbourne Australia. We have over 50 teams train who train at the Greenvale Recreation Centre, Barrymore Road, Greenvale.

This weekend is Pink Round, with the raising funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Network Australia.

We encourage all Greenvale Basketball players, families, coaches and supporters to wear a touch of pink across the weekend and help get behind an important cause that impacts so many families in our community.

Whether it’s pink socks, ribbons, shirts or accessories, every bit of support helps spark conversations and show solidarity.

You can make a donation via the link in our bio or at the Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium this weekend. Raffle tickets will also be available with funds raised supporting Breast Cancer Network Australia. There are also some fantastic prizes up for grabs!!

Today, the U19 Greenvale Cubs stood beside Strathmore B198 to remember Charlie Collings.

Charlie, a Strathmore player, sadly passed away this week and will be deeply missed by his teammates, coaches and the wider basketball community.

A minute of silence was observed today, with both teams coming together to show their respect.

Our thoughts are with Charlie’s family, friends and everyone at Strathmore.

What a great way to wrap up the year with our basketball community. A big thank you to our committee and volunteers who gave their time and energy to bring this event together!!

Thank you to our food vendors for keeping everyone well fed, to the Greenvale CFA for bringing the fire truck down and creating such a special moment for the kids, and of course to Santa for making an appearance 🎅

A big thank you as well to our wonderful local businesses for their generous raffle donations - and congratulations to all of our lucky prize winners!

Wishing all our players, families, coaches and supporters a safe and happy Christmas, and a very happy New Year. We can’t wait to see the kids back on the courts in 2026!

📍 Greenvale Recreation Centre

There’ll be lots of fun, food trucks, a petting zoo, dunking machine, raffles, presentations*, giveaways and more — a great afternoon for the whole family to enjoy!

What a fantastic way to finish the season. From the first game to the final whistle, our teams played with skill, teamwork and plenty of heart. We’ve loved sharing snapshots from across the day that show just how much effort went into every match.

We’re proud of all our teams – no matter the result, everyone represented Greenvale with determination and great sportsmanship.

A huge thank you to our committee and coaches for everything you’ve done right through the season. Your time, planning and support make days like this possible.

And to the family and friends who turn up every week, to cheer the kids on – we couldn’t do it without you.

With another season wrapped up, we’re already looking forward to seeing everyone back on court next season!!
