What a night for the Burra!

Across the NFNL Presentation Nights, our players, trainers and volunteers were recognised for their outstanding 2026 seasons.

There were plenty of St Mary’s names featuring at the top of the leaderboards and four big wins to celebrate 🏆

We’ll also have the Division 1 NFNL Grand Final showing, with the bar open and food provided throughout the afternoon.

A huge congratulations to Gemma Spithill and Remy Gangell on outstanding results at the NFNL Junior Presentation Night 👏

🥈 Gemma Spithill – 2nd, 15&U Division 1 B&F
After winning the 13&U Division 1 B&F in the summer season, Gemma stepped up to 15&U for winter and has continued to shine, finishing runner-up in another brilliant season.

🥉 Remy Gangell – 3rd, 13&U Division 1 B&F
An incredible result in Remy’s debut year with the Burra.

We’re incredibly proud to see both girls recognised among the competition’s best.

A huge thank you to everyone who came down last night for our End of Season Celebration🖤🤍🩵

It was great to have so many players, partners, families, friends and supporters together to celebrate what has been a truly excellent season across the club.

A season is about so much more than what happens on game day, and nights like last night are a pretty good reminder of the people and community that make the Burra what it is ❤️

A special thank you to Mark & Noah Stanley, Lauren & James Ind and Bernie Girolami and everyone else involved in organising the night and making it all happen👏

And a huge thank you to Pete Watson and St Marys GJFC for running the bar and helping out with the food throughout the night, allowing everyone from the Senior Club to relax and enjoy the celebrations.

It all kicks off Saturday as our Senior Men take on the Grand Final, before we head back to Whatmough Park for our End of Season Celebration 🎉

Then on Sunday, we’re backing it up with Family Day – a relaxed afternoon at the club to celebrate the season together.
