Yarra Plenty Waves Swim Club

Yarra Plenty Waves is a community orientated non-profit organisation that develops and nurtures swimmers at all levels of ability. Our innovative training programs cater to all; from nervous beginners to national level athletes. Our Facilities:

Yarra Plenty Indoor Pool in Greensborough, six lane, 25m competition pool with the addition of a well equipped strength training room. Access to this training area is of great benefit to our program and enhances the valuable dryland training sessions we offer. Swimming programs:
The club training programs are designed to improve all levels of ability in a dynamic atmosphere. All training programs are competition based following the Long Term Athlete Development Program (LTAD) to ensure progression and improvement. The club has three squads that start from junior level to state and national development. Daily programs are designed to challenge each individual, with a high emphasis on technique, fitness and strength. The training program is complemented by group strength and conditioning sessions that are tailored to meet the needs of each athlete. Our Mission:
