Keep an eye out for these changes. Plan ahead for games this weekend.

Heads up, Greensy! There are some big changes coming to Grimshaw Street this weekend.

From 9pm Friday 11th September to 5am Monday 14th September, Grimshaw Street will be closed in both directions between Macorna Street and Greensborough Road, with detours in place.

There'll also be closures and lane changes along the Greensborough Bypass throughout the weekend, so if you're heading through the area, allow a little extra time for your trip.

The changes are part of the ongoing Grimshaw Street Interchange works.

For nearly two decades, the Boek family has been synonymous with dedication, leadership and community at Diamond Valley Basketball Association (DVBA). From players and coaches to referees, volunteers and administrators, every member of the family has played a role in helping shape the association both on and off the court.

The Boek family’s journey through DVBA began with their four children, Tom, Ash, Will and Jess, all proudly wearing the Eagles colours from Under 12s through to Under 18s, with several continuing into Under 20s and Youth League basketball. Along the way, they became much more than talented players. Each embraced opportunities to give back to the game, creating a family legacy built on service and commitment.

🚨 VENUE REMINDER — LET’S LOOK AFTER OUR GAME DAY VENUES 🏀

Diamond Valley has received feedback from a number of venues regarding the condition facilities are being left in following Saturday Junior Domestic competition.

A few important reminders for all players, coaches, parents and spectators:

🚭 NO VA**NG — Va**ng inside any venue is not acceptable. Some venues have va**ng detection systems, and incidents are being recorded and reported.

🗑️ BIN YOUR RUBBISH — Please make sure all rubbish is placed in bins. This includes inside facilities, around courts, seating areas and in car parks.

🏀 RESPECT OUR GAME DAY VENUES — Please leave every venue clean and in the condition you would expect to find it.

These venues are essential to keeping our Junior Domestic competition running each Saturday. We all have a responsibility to look after the facilities that allow our players to play.

💙 Let’s work together to keep our venues safe, clean and welcoming for everyone.
