Congratulations Fletcher !

🐍 Ivan Limb Memorial Trophy - Emerging Talent 🐍

Ivan Limb was a Senior Player, Life Member, Sponsor and Patron at Greenock. His passing in 2024 was felt strongly by all the Club and within the Greenock community. Continuing his passion and support for the Club, the Limb Family have generously hosted an Emerging Talent Award in his honor. This award supports youth development at GCC.

We congratulate Fletcher Schild on being the inaugural winner. Fletcher loves cricket. He works hard to improve his game every time he takes the field, picks up the bat or a ball. 🏏 Over Fletchers junior career, he has always and continues to try different approaches, tweaking all aspects of his game, learning at every opportunity. Often chatting to the coach between balls bowled or supporting his team mates while out in the middle with the bat. 🏏 Fletch is a confident run scorer and a leader in the cricket world.

This season Fletcher took the next big step in cricket, playing his first senior games for GCC, where he took his first senior wicket 💥🔥

Fletcher is a worthy recipient of such an important Club award. Congratulations from all the Club 🎯🌟

Great work Hayden!! 🌟 🏏 🐍

Hayden Schiller delivered a superb spell on day one of our 1st Grade semi final against Adelaide University, helping put the Jets in control of the contest.

Opening the bowling, Hayden struck at crucial moments and continually asked questions of the top order, finishing as the pick of the bowlers in a high pressure clash.

Only restricted by age limitations, Hayden made every over count and played a major role in setting up a strong position heading into day two.

A brilliant performance from Hayden, and while we don’t see him in Jets colours as often due to his SACA commitments, we can’t wait to see more of him in the future. Congratulations Hayden.

🐍🌟 Last Weekend was a very special one for our Junior Schlunger Sascha Klingbiel. Sascha played her debut game for the Jets both in the under 15 and Senior woman’s team. She was also presented her debut senior match cap at the seniors match on Sunday by Paley Well done Sascha, keep on shining bright! 💥
