The timing couldn’t be better for a sale page's pedigree boost, with Briasa announcing himself as one of Australia’s most exciting sprinters following his dominant victory in Saturday’s $1 million Group Two Premiere Stakes (1200m) at Randwick.

The Team Hawkes-trained son of Smart Missile took control late in the race under Tyler Schiller, stopping the clock in a slick 1:07.98 and confirming his place among the leading contenders for The Everest.

The hammers will begin to fall tomorrow, with today being the final day of inspections.

First from our draft through the ring will be Lot 58, Sensei x Szewinska. A c**t from the same family as Alabama Magic who has placed in a Gr.3 as a 2yr from only 3 starts.
Estimated ring time for Lot 58 is 12:28pm

Also selling tomorrow will be Lot 80, a filly by Sensei x Trust Funds at an estimated time of 1:00pm

What an exciting pedigree this gorgeous lass boasts, one with multiple strains of the prolific Rough Shod family - one which produced the great Sadler's Wells (dam sire of Sensei's high achieving grandsire Diktat) as well as Fairy King, Perugino, Northern Meteor and Geiger Counter.
And each of those stallions feature in the pedigree of Trust Funds, giving this filly considerable genetic strength!
With a pedigree that is similar to Fighting Sun's Gr.1 daughter Chain Of Lightning, this filly is the first foal for a daughter of the classy Gina Lollawitcha, a Listed winning dam of two city winners and grandam of the stakes winner Rainbiel.
Trust Fund's grandam Lucky Witch is also a stakes winner and what a fine job she did at stud with her six winners including the stakes winners Lucky Diva (in turn dam of the Gr.3 winners Ms Catherine and Spring Stream and grandam of the Listed winner Franca), Spirit Of Westbury and Duke Of Westbury.
Black-type success is nothing new to this family, one which has produced one of Australia's great racehorses and stallions in this Century.
