Parkour is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with a team of motivated and positive people. Newcomers are always welcome and it is suitable for all fitness levels! Parkour In general involves getting from point A to point B in the most efficient way possible by means of running, jumping, vaulting, climbing etc. But it can also be seen as a way of using the built or natural environment in creat

ive ways to create new movement and flow in seemingly dead spaces. One of the great things about Parkour (besides keeping us fit and healthy!), is that we begin to look at everyday environments differently. Where someone might see a set of stairs zig-zagging up between a courtyard and the street, we start to see all the different opportunities to move and flow around the handrails, walls and surfaces, thinking of the space in a more 3D manner than just following the the usual lines of the footpath. In that way, Parkour is like a combination of practical movements and creative thinking.
