The Gingin Golf Club held a very successful Melbourne Cup Luncheon for 91 invited guests from afar afield as Dandaragan.
Our Ladies excelled with the clubhouse decorations, table settings and a fantastic buffet meal.
Guests were enthusiastic and generous purchasing Race Sweep and Raffle tickets and participating in the Table Quiz with much convivial comment.
We extend our thanks and appreciation to the local Businesses and producers who supported the day. Especially
Jeff Chriso, Borrello Beef, The Gingin Butcher, Gingin Cellarbrations, Bogdanich Farms, Brookrise Fresh Produce and Monti Farms.

The mixed closing day was held on Saturday. A good turn out and great weather to end the official season. Unofficially anyone keen to continue to play are welcome. Winner for the day was Cole Fewster with 41 pts and Runner-up Paul Fewster with 39 pts on a countback with Duncan Hackman, 4th place Bruno DeBoni 37pts on a countbackwith Thys Gorter. Kathy Gobbart was the Ladies winner with 31 pts. The exciting part at the end of the day for a pairs draw competition was swiftly shut down when Cole and Paul Fewster's names were drawn out early, winning the event. Followed by Duncan Hackman and Thys Gorter (37pts). When its your day!!

A very big thank you to our sponsor for the day, the Von Horn family, in remembrance of David , one of the clubs past members and who was Club Champion multiple times. Thank you Brenda, Alex and Zoe.

3rd September Stableford event, sponsored by Irene Neville, Winner Robin Higgins 40pts, Runner-up Kathy Gobbart 39pts.
September 10th Ambrose pairs event sponsored by Jean Latto, Winner Jean Latto and Karen Pollard 71.75 nett, Runner-up Kathy Gobbart and Wendy Geary 74.5 nett.
17th September Stableford event sponsored by Marnee Pearse, Winner Wendy Geary 33pts, Runner-up Kathy Gobbart 32pts.
Congratulations to member Marnee Pearse who received Runner-up 36 hole nett Bronze Division trophy at Country Week held at Lakelands Country Club and Rockingham Golf Club.
