🏃🏃‍♀️New date has been announced 🏃🏃‍♀️

NDLA INTERCLUB GALA DAY IS COMING!

We are so excited to welcome athletes from across the district for our Nambucca & District Interclub Gala Day!

Join us for a fantastic day of athletics, friendly competition, community spirit and fundraising as clubs come together to compete, connect and celebrate our amazing young athletes!

Whether you’re chasing a PB, sprinting down the track, leaping into the sandpit or cheering from the sidelines, there will be something for everyone!

📅 Sunday, 18th of October 2026
📍 EJ Biffen Field, Fred Brain Ave, Nambucca Heads
⏰ 9:00am registration | 9:30am start
💲 $10 per athlete
👟 All ages welcome - Tots through to U20s!

- Ribbons for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
- Age Champion trophies up for grabs
- BBQ and canteen available
- A fun day bringing our athletics community together!

We’re also calling on any wonderful volunteers who would like to help officiate events or lend a hand as a timekeeper. Every helping hand will make a huge difference and help keep the day running smoothly!

🏃‍♀️ Kyle taught our members the correct technique, gave them some great feedback and plenty of time to practice.

⏰️ The next Tuesday training will be on
Sept 29. Throws skills at Junction Hill, from 4.30pm

💜 This training is included in your registration. All registered club members aged 7+ are welcome.

Foundation skills coaching with Kyle.
4.30pm - 5.30pm

🏃‍♀️ All registered club members aged 7+ are welcome to come along on nominated Tuesdays, for skills training, run by experienced coaches from our club.

🤩 Refer to the "Venues & Dates" picture in comments for dates & events.

🤩 It's a fantastic opportunity to learn the correct technique and improve your skills.
Especially if you would like to compete at inter club competitions.

💜 This extra training is included in your registration. It is not compulsory.

💜 NEW uniforms for 26/27 season 💜

🤩 The new club uniforms have been ordered.
When they arrive, you'll be able to try on and purchase from the shed, on Friday afternoons.
Cash or Eftpos available.

💡 Here's some info about when & where uniforms are needed.

🏃‍♀️ TOTS
A uniform is not required for this age group.
But we have limited stock of FREE singlets & crops that will be given out to kids that register in this group. (While stock lasts)

🏃‍♀️ Friday club nights
The new GAC uniform is not compulsory.
You can wear the existing uniform or Headspace shirt.

🏃‍♀️ Competition days
If you are representing GAC at competitions, you will be required to wear the new uniform.

👚 OLD UNIFORMS
If you have old uniforms that you no longer need, please bring them along to Friday club nights. We'll pass them on to other club members.

🏃‍♀️🏃 TONIGHT - Fri, Sept 11 @ Jabour Park, Grafton. This is tonight's program, so you can see what events each age group will do.

Tots - 10s events start at 4.30pm
11s - Opens events start at 5.30pm

🤩 Parent helpers needed 🤩
To guide age groups to each event, and help our leaders.

🤩 Leaders - If you are 13yo + we'd love you to help our junior members from 4.30pm.
Please try to get there at 4.15 to help with event set up.

⚠️ All children under 18 must have a parent present. Please stay with your children.

If you have old uniforms to donate, please bring them along tonight.
