🌻DOIN' IT FOR HOLLY ROUND 🌻
This Saturday, Grafton Hockey Association proudly hosts our annual Doin' It For Holly Round in memory of Holly Butcher, whose courage, strength and positive spirit continue to inspire so many.

To honour Holly, we're encouraging all players, families and supporters to add a touch of sunflower yellow to their outfit. Whether it's a ribbon, socks, face paint, a sunflower or your favourite yellow shirt, let's turn the fields into a sea of sunshine and support.

Saturday promises to be a huge day with back to back hockey action across all grades, along with activities designed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation. There will be plenty happening around the grounds for all ages to enjoy.

Blood donors save lives every day, and this round is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Holly's legacy while helping spread an important message throughout our community.

Men's Opens State Championship Update 🏑
What a day for our Grafton Men's Opens team! The lads have had a successful start to their State Championship campaign, recording three wins and finishing 2nd in their pool, only separated from top spot by goal difference.

Semi-final showdown tomorrow morning against an undefeated Newcastle side. It's set to be a tough contest, but our Grafton boys have shown plenty of skill, determination and teamwork throughout the tournament and will be ready to come out firing.

With a place in the Division 1 Grand Final on the line, the team will be giving it everything they've got.

Men's Opens State Championships 🏑

This weekend marks the start of the Men's Opens Field State Championships, and what a team Grafton has assembled!

Our GHA superstars are set to take on the best teams in Division 1 as they head to the Illawarra South Coast for what promises to be a fantastic weekend of hockey.

The lads hit the field for their opening match today at 11:45am. We wish the team, all the very best for the championships.

We Did It!

Another fantastic NSW North Women's Masters Championships and what a wonderful weekend it was!

Firstly, thank you to all the players who travelled to Grafton and competed in the true spirit of Masters hockey. The sportsmanship, camaraderie and passion for the game were on display throughout the entire weekend.

Events like this simply don't happen without an army of volunteers working behind the scenes.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time to help in the canteen, work the BBQ, run the cake stall, set up and pack down fields, and assist wherever needed. Whether you volunteered for an hour or the entire weekend, your contribution helped make the championship a success.

Thank you to our umpires and officials who ensured the games were played in a fair, safe and enjoyable environment. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and often go unnoticed.

To the cheer squads, supporters, family members and friends who lined the sidelines all weekend long, thank you for creating such a fantastic atmosphere for all teams.

A special thank you to our dedicated Board and Committee members. Hosting a championship of this size requires months of planning, preparation and organisation before the first whistle is blown. From coordinating teams, planning a back up plan due to weather, sorting facilities, volunteers and logistics to working tirelessly throughout the weekend, your commitment to Grafton Hockey does not go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do behind the scenes.

A special shout-out to our incredible canteen and BBQ crew who worked tirelessly throughout the weekend keeping everyone fed and watered. Your hard work behind the scenes was simply outstanding.

Finally, thank you to our Grafton Hockey community. Once again, you showed what can be achieved when everyone comes together with a common goal.

We are proud to have hosted such a successful championship and look forward to welcoming everyone back to Grafton in the future.

This is what Women’s Masters hockey is all about!

Having fun, playing the game you love, doing it alongside your mates, and sharing your skills, experience and knowledge with others.

Over the weekend we’ve seen plenty of smiles, laughs, great hockey and friendships both old and new. It’s been a wonderful reminder that hockey is about so much more than the scoreboard.

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of making this championship such a fantastic event.
