It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Sharon Mitchell on Sunday 24 May 2026.

Sharon was a much-loved part of the motorcycling community and someone who gave so much of herself to the sport and to the people in it. Over the years, Sharon captured countless memories for North Coast Road Racers through her camera lens, memories that riders and families will treasure forever.

Beyond the photos, Sharon was always there to lend a hand. From creating special trophies and gifts to helping wherever she was needed, she quietly worked behind the scenes to make race days special for everyone. Her kindness, generosity and dedication to the sport will not be forgotten.

The racing community has lost one of its truly special people.

Our thoughts are with Paul, Sharonโ€™s family, and all who knew and loved her.

Rest peacefully, Sharon. Thank you for everything you gave to our club and our sport.

Why short course road racing? ๐Ÿ

Because itโ€™s non-stop racing. Tight tracks, close battles, and every move matters straight away. Itโ€™s simple, fast, and pretty addictive once you try it.

Itโ€™s 50ccโ€“500cc road and dirt bikes racing on kart tracks, focused on technique and control rather than raw speed. Riders build real skill through smooth braking, racing lines, and smart overtakes.

Itโ€™s close, exciting, and great for building confidence, especially for beginners. And itโ€™s one of the best ways to develop skills that transfer to bigger tracks later.

1HR STOCK/SUPERLITE ENDURO RESULTS ๐Ÿ
Round 2 โ€“ Lismore | 11โ€“12 April 2026

The 1hr enduro brought the heat in more ways than one. It was tough out there, and just keeping things together for a full hour was a job in itself. We started with 14 racers and finished with 9!

Out front, it turned into a proper duel between Ned and Moz. The gap barely moved all race. Every lap it felt like one of them might crack, but neither did. Just steady, relentless pressure for the full hour.

In the end, Ned got it done with 93 laps, but Moz was right there, only seconds behind on the same lap after an hour of racing. Doesnโ€™t get much closer than that!

Big congrats to everyone who entered, whether you made it to the flag or not - that was a seriously tough race ๐Ÿ‘

Results:
1. Ned Cain โ€“ 93 laps
2. Morya Schmid โ€“ 93 laps
3. Xavier Lemaire โ€“ 87 laps
4. Howard Furner โ€“ 86 laps
5. Michael Higgins โ€“ 82 laps
6. Rob Beadman โ€“ 81 laps
7. Nick Wilkins โ€“ 81 laps
8. Graeme Felton โ€“ 78 laps
9. Gordon Northam โ€“ 77 laps
