The Grafton Playgroup runs
weekly sessions at the Bacon Street Hall (near the netball courts)
Playgroup is a safe and friendly environment where parents, carers, babies and children up to the age of six meet to have fun, share experiences and learn through play. In their first years, children develop skills that lay the foundation for life. The movement, interaction, activities and play ideas offered at Playgroups provide the ideal environment to help stimulate and nurture their developmental process. Being part of a Playgroup also gives mums, dads, grandparents and caregivers the opportunity to make new friends, discuss ideas, learn about childhood development and share parenting experiences
At Playgroup children will:
• Learn and develop new skills
• Have fun playing
• Socialise and enjoy being with other children
• Experience new activities
• Explore a new environment
• Play with a variety of toys
• Develop a weekly routine. At Playgroup parents and carers will:
• Meet other parents and carers
• Make new friends
• Share parenting experiences
• Learn about childhood development
• Play and have fun
• Spend quality time with their children
• Become involved in the community. Your first two sessions at Playgroup are free. To join the Playgroup or for more information, please contact Playgroup NSW on 1800 171 882 or visit www.playgroupnsw.com.au
