Don't forget this Friday 26th June is our last Friday of the month with a slight difference. As the nights are getting cooler we will be selling home cooked winter warmer meals along with our meat tray raffles, adult and junior putting competitions. Hope to see you all there.

On Sunday 14th Jun-26 the club hosted a Canadian Foursome event in which 36 golfers participated. The event winners with a fine score of 63.8 nett was Shelley and Phil Slade (photo 1). The runner-ups with 71.8 was Dan and Mick Dawson (photo 2).

The above winners were followed in the rundown by Kerry Moreland & Ray Bianchi 73, Bill Dreier & Kenny Hayes 74.4 and Danny Murphy & Cres Bulger 75.

Pin Shot winners were:
No 7 - Geoff Walford & Clarry McDonell 3.27mts
No 9 - David Wilson & Jim Cuthbertson 4.26mts
No 18 - Ray Johnstone & Wayne Hamilton 1.35mts

Exciting news for one of our lovely ladies member. Shai Pearce has been at Taroom Golf Club representing Gracemere Lake Golf Club at the QLD Ladies Sand Greens. Shai won Division 1 Nett and 3rd for Division 1 Gross. Well done and congratulations Shai we are all so proud of your achievements this weekend

On Sunday 7th Jun-26 the club held a Monthly Medal event. Players found the windy conditions and the faster then usual greens quite challenging, which meant good scores were hard to come by. However the competition was very close with only 2 strokes separating the best ten nett scores. The Monthly Medal winners were as follows:
A Division- Ash Mosedale 76 (photo 1) on a count back between 3 players
B Division - Danny Murphy 75 (photo 2) on a count back between 2 players
C Division - Jason Morley 75 (photo 3)

The above medal winners were followed in the rundown by Terry Galvin 75, Steve Death 76, Greg Rogers 76, Kenny Hayes 76, Andrew Keong 76, Rob Willson 76 and Phil Jackson 77.

On Sunday 31st May-26 the club hosted a 4 Ball Aggregate Stableford in which a good field of 40 golfers participated. The event winners were Kenny Hayes and Bill Dreier with 74 stableford points. The runner-ups were Ray Bianchi and Andrew Keong with 70 points.

The above winners were followed in the rundown by Phil & Trent Jackson 68, Danny Murphy & Josh O’Shea 68 and Thomas Means & Harrison Mitchell 66.
