The Jim Holden 50 lap race held last night at Toowoomba.

With Luke sitting this meeting out he of course was crewing for his brother.

Matt was consistent in his speed all night with some fast times finishing 2nd & 3rd place in his heats.

Starting in 5th place in the 50 Lap feature race, Matt was on pace and was running in 2nd & 3rd place for most of the race, till the first yellow caution on lap 30. After a few re-starts the racing was close & in the end Matt crossed the line 6th place.

Not a bad result & no damage.

Nowra Speedway 18.04.26
2nd Place for Matt 🥈

A better result for the team as both drivers finished strong in the feature.

Matt * P1 ➡️ 1st Place
P10 ➡️ 3rd Place
Luke* P5 ➡️ 4th Place
P6 ➡️ DNF

After making contact with another car the team managed to fix Luke’s car & started in P11 in the feature while Matt was starting in P6. The racing was fast & the boys had moved up the field. Matt was running up in 2nd place while Luke had raced his way to 3rd place but a couple of laps from home had dropped back a few positions.

A big night for the team last Saturday Night @ Western Sydney Speedway hosting
The Speedcar 50 Lap race.

All 3 cars were fast on the night & Matt & Luke Geering both had a heat win. A DNF for Luke in his first heat with mechanical issues & Matt Geering advanced in his 2nd heat from P7 - P3.
Matt Jackson also ran strong in his heats and was very quick

The 50 Lapper returns on Saturday April 11 as the Western Sydney 50 with 50 laps of flat-out action where anything can happen.

Saturday 14th March
ACT Title !
A much better result for the team after a run of bad luck at the Australian Titles in February.
The boys advanced in their heats with Luke taking a win in his 2nd heat.
Luke was highest on points for the night & that secured him a Pole start for the feature.
Luke was leading most of the race and had great speed but unfortunately bad luck struck again with a fuel pump issue so he had to pull in.
Matt was making good progress & was up to 2nd place with only 5 laps from home but an error cost him a few spots & he crossed the line in 5th place.
Matt also recorded the fastest lap for the Feature.

Our next Meeting this weekend @ Goulburn Speedway on 21/03/26

Behind the wheel of the N6 Spike / Fontana Speedcar, Matt Geering brings championship pedigree and serious versatility to Geering Motorsport. Starting his racing journey in Speedway Karts at 14, Matt quickly rose to the top, becoming a 3 time Australian Speedway Kart Champion and multiple State Champion.
