An impressive competitive debut for Dylan yesterday One Raceway.

Competing in a super sprint for the first time at a new track for him.

Every lap there was improvement in driving and speed that resulted in a very successful day on track.

RX8 Cup Series Round 1 Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is all wrapped up.

Overall, it was a strong weekend with a few character‑testing moments all pretty standard for motorsport 😅.

The pace was there, and a big shoutout to Ric Shaw Racing for a seriously strong engine. I definitely enjoyed having that kind of speed to work with.

Racing was as competitive as ever. We didn’t make it through completely unscathed, that hurt track position in a couple of the races but I really enjoyed the battles with some of the long‑time Cup guys. Hard, clean racing, plenty of position changes, and no paint traded. That’s the kind of racing I love being part of.

I feel like we had a bit more potential than what the results show, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Now the focus shifts to Round 2 our enduro in a few weeks. I’m looking forward to sharing some exciting news about my co‑driver soon.

Results:
• Qualifying: 6th
• Race 1: 9th
• Race 2: 10th
• Race 3: 7th
• Race 4: 6th

An OK Saturday complete.

Qualified 6th.

Race 1 today great battles from 4th to 8th, sat 6th for the majority of it, lost one spot to a slightly faster car on the last lap then got caught up with the pack as a result I unfortunately dropped two more spots to finish ninth, disappointing …but 3 races tomorrow to move forward, likely some rain too just to make it interesting!
